Board-Approved Policies
Our five governance policies
Each policy has been adopted by the Board of Directors of Western Fintrade Private Limited and is reviewed annually (or sooner if regulation changes).
Western Fintrade Private Limited is a Non-Banking Financial Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India under Registration Number B010039, operating since 1994. All lending activity is undertaken in accordance with the applicable regulations, directions and Master Directions issued by the RBI from time to time. The certificate of registration and other statutory information are available on request and in our regulatory filings.
Fair Practices Code (Summary)
Our Fair Practices Code (“FPC”) governs every step of the lending lifecycle — from how we accept loan applications to how we communicate sanction terms, disburse funds, service the account, and conduct recovery. It is aligned to the RBI's Fair Practices framework for NBFCs and reviewed annually by the Board.
Communications with borrowers in English, Hindi or the language understood by the borrower.
Written sanction letter containing loan amount, tenure, annualised rate, fees, security and repayment schedule.
Any change in rates, charges or terms is implemented prospectively and notified to the borrower.
Recovery conducted lawfully — no harassment, no abusive language, no contact at inappropriate hours.
Customer information held in confidence, disclosed only with consent or under statutory requirement.
If you have a concern relating to our products or services, please write to our Grievance Redressal Officer. We will acknowledge and respond as per our internal grievance redressal policy and the timelines specified by the RBI for NBFCs (typically within 30 days). If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate to the Reserve Bank of India's Integrated Ombudsman Scheme.

Privacy Policy
We handle personal and financial information collected from customers in line with applicable data protection norms, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Information is used only for the purpose for which it was collected — primarily credit assessment, servicing and statutory compliance. We do not sell customer data.
Information used only for stated purposes (KYC, credit, servicing, statutory reporting).

All credit decisions are at the sole discretion of Western Fintrade Private Limited and subject to internal policy, KYC, eligibility checks and applicable RBI guidelines. Responsible Lending Statement
Western Fintrade is committed to lending responsibly. We extend credit that we believe a borrower can reasonably service, communicate terms transparently, and offer a defined process for raising concerns. We do not make claims of “guaranteed approval”, “instant approval for everyone” or “lowest interest rates” — every loan decision reflects credit policy, eligibility and applicable regulation.
